Once again, WFRE in Frederick, MD is swimming against the current of today's radio culture and actually adding a full time position! (Who DOES that???)

We're looking for a LIVE personality-driven night (7p-mid) jock who understands and can relate to our 35-year-old female target listener. You need previous on-air experience, a great attitude, and the willingness to be a part of a kick-ass team. You should also:

• work well with others (yes, even sales people)
• be current on pop culture
• be web-savvy and already be highly active in social media and continuously learning and growing in that field (this should be true for ALL aspects of the job)
• have a conversational on-air delivery (''radio voices'' need not apply)
• be willing and able to be active in the community
• be able to set up your own remotes, which means carrying heavy stuff sometimes
• be able to come up with benchmarks and sellable on-air content for your show
• be comfortable interacting with listeners on the phones and in person
• be dependable
• be creative
• be fun
• have never, ever uttered the words ''that's not my job.''
