Account Executive

Broomfield Broadcasting is searching for an energetic account executive to sell advertising for our radio stations in Greenwood, SC.

If you have a proven track record with at least two years of sales experience, preferably media sales and marketing, we are looking for you! The successful candidate will be a motivated person who exudes confidence and excitement -- in person and over the phone. We want someone who understands the need to always be on time, be persistent and follow up in order to be successful.

Responsibilities include helping to develop new sales promotions, making sales presentations (written and verbal), and writing/recording ad copy. We have two radio stations and this position will sell ads for both stations. A strong attention to detail is a must.

This position involves making cold calls, but you will start making money right away with an established customer list containing current and recent advertisers, as well as prospects. We want someone who has demonstrated the ability to overcome obstacles and recognize when they need to change direction or think outside the box in order to win business.

Greenwood is a small community with big opportunities! We have superb golf courses, a 22-mile long lake and a vibrant night life. Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Broomfield Broadcasting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
