Tampa Director of Engineering

A rare opportunity is available to lead a major market radio engineering team to work with some of the newest state of the art technology at Tampa's Beasley Media Group. We are seeking a dynamic individual to provide leadership with a hands-on role that will lead, train, schedule and oversee the work and performance of others. Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of Broadcast engineering experience;
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience;
  • Associates Degree in Engineering/Technical Discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Responsible for broadcast infrastructure design, integration, maintenance, and operation;
  • Knowledge of RF Systems, and RF troubleshooting skills;
  • Experience with radio studio construction and maintenance;
  • Responsible for immediate and long-term forecasting and budget proposals for new projects and replacement of current equipment;
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate solutions to team members and other departments;
  • Experience with WideOrbit Radio Automation software is preferred, but not required;
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds;
  • Must be willing to work off hours and be on call;
  • SBE Certification a plus;
  • Ensure compliance with FCC Rules and Regulations;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Valid drivers' license and vehicle insurance are required;
