IT Desktop Support

Description: A rare opportunity is available to join a major market radio engineering and IT team to work with some of the newest state of the art technology at Tampa's Beasley Media Group. We are looking for a high energy, self-motivated person, who is qualified for this rare opportunity to work in a large modern radio facility. Beasley's Tampa market includes (5) FM's and (1) AM. The ideal candidate will support local staff with all computer-related hardware and software needs; maintain documentation of all network, computer and user information; maintain general office computers; manage local computer networks; manage local phone systems and must provide phone support to mobile users.


  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems;
  • Ability to provide level 1 and 2 helpdesk support to end users in a Windows 10 environment;
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and O365
  • Knowledge of IP Networking, TCP/UDP protocol and commonly used concepts, best practices, and procedures;
  • Associates degree or three years of end user support experience;
  • Knowledge of SharePoint & Apple OS is a plus.
  • Experience with WideOrbit Radio Automation software is preferred, but not required;
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds;
  • Must be willing to work off hours and be on call;
  • Must have own transportation;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Valid drivers' license and vehicle insurance are required

WSOU-FM/New York: WSOU Sports Director Dalton Allison, General Manager Mark Maben and staff representative Kaleigh Diamond with some of the more than 1,200 pounds of food Seton Hall University's student-run radio station collected during the station's annual food drive for the Community Foodbank of New Jersey. Against a goal of 895 pounds of food, the students gathered donations totaling 1,202 pounds, surpassing the old record of 908 pounds set in 2018. The food collected by WSOU will provide over 1,500 meals.
