Experienced Account Executive

Seeking person with great drive and self-discipline to generate new business for our sports radio stations. This is an outside sales position that requires a high volume of appointment setting, presentation skills, and great attention to detail. Must exhibit strong people skills, problem solving ability; be creative, computer literate, have a willingness to focus without distraction, and have excellent prospecting and strong organization abilities. A valid driver's license is necessary. Two to three years of outside sales experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a pre-employment drug screening are required. Responsibilities include: Manage human resources including new hire orientation. Manage all trade barter accounting including receiving and distribution of trade merchandise. Directly supervise the A/P processes in accordance with Clear Channel's policies and procedures. Assist with the monthly financial close, maintenance of the general ledger, reconciliation of accounts and explanation and correction of reconciling items. Assist market controller with issuing monthly financial statements Includes overseeing aspects of monthly journal entries, account analysis and variance analysis Work with market controller to issue, analyze and interpret financial results. Review accounts payable, payroll, cash receipts, credit and collections, trade, accounts receivable and billing activity. Ensures all financial deadlines and due dates are met in a timely manner Includes but is not limited to monthly financial close, client billing, vendor payments, and employee obligations (paychecks, terminations and expense reports). Responsible for financial functions of radio stations Informs market controller of risk and exposure issues Works with other departments to effectively carry our instructions of executive management Also performs cost analysis as needed or requested by the Market Controller

Job Requirements:The right candidate will have minimum 5 years accounting experience and 2 years supervisory experience He/She must possess advanced Excel skills and be familiar with email, Microsoft Word and accounting software Mediastar/Viero experience is a plus This candidate must also maintain excellent time management and leadership skills, with ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines A high level of enthusiasm, great interpersonal skills, personal integrity and commitment are essential

Edu Requirements: A BA/BS in Accounting or Finance is required
