Job Description: Job responsibilities include producing and broadcasting daily newscasts, covering local news stories, maintaining on-line presence, conducting on-air interviews, live remotes of community events, and other events and activities. Position primarily located out of our Mason City office. Candidate should have intense interest in community events and activities, and a goal of providing consistent and accurate radio, website and video coverage for our listeners. Prior broadcast experience is preferred, but general writing and journalism experience is most beneficial. The preferred candidate will have a well-rounded broadcast background in on-air content, live broadcasts, show hosting, commercial production. Additional training will be provided. Additional sports play-by-play and/or program management duties may be available for the right individual who has proven experience leading a broadcast staff.
