Director of Sales

Responsibilities include:
- Exceeding revenue goals by impacting people, both your team and clients.
- Recruiting and retaining top flight talent & build teams.
- Developing sales strategy, with specific, measurable tactics and actions that generate sales revenue.
- Holding team members accountable to all priorities and action plans.
- Leading regular sales team meetings and conducting weekly one-on-one meetings with team members.
- Embracing our CRM system and maximizing its capabilities to help grow revenue and your team.
- Managing departmental processes, such as account management, pricing and order approval.
- Growing relationships with clients and developing a deeper understanding of their needs.
- Creating and organizing sales opportunities that align with client needs and demand.
- Contributing innovative ideas to generate revenue.
- Attending and participating in high profile account presentations.
- Projecting weekly, and planning and budgeting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Prior sales and management experience is highly desired.
A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and proof of insurance are all required.

Work collaboratively with sales and marketing to develop and execute revenue generating promotions and events that build brand and deliver success to clients.
Work in team environment across our stations and social platforms to maximize engagement.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience coaching air talent and on-air shift
Excellent interpersonal skills
Compliance with all FCC rules and regulations
Strong work ethic and ownership of outcomes
Positive and energetic style
Problem solving skills and ability to manage deadlines
Proficiency in adobe audition, media touch, Microsoft office, word press and social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok). Music Master a plus.

Senior Reporter/News Director
The Senior Reporter/News Director for Flag Family Media will help set the tone and pace of our newsroom and guide daily, breaking and enterprise reporting and special projects from our state-of-the-art facilities in Fargo while nurturing a healthy newsroom culture that is self-motivated, where staff are empowered to do their best work and grow professionally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead all aspects of the cluster's news experience -- collecting, writing, and producing news content delivered on-air and through our digital, social media and video channels. Visible in the community to create relationships with community leaders and news makers. Lead collaborative journalism efforts between Flag Family Media and external news partners. Support the growth and development of reporters, editors and producers of all levels of experience. Edit both audio and web stories for clear, factual, concise and fair reporting that adheres to the highest journalistic standards. Work closely with Sales and Programming Department to create non-traditional revenue opportunities. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
High-level written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate around multiple creative projects in a time-sensitive manner. Strong attention to detail and solid organizational and project management skills. Working knowledge of Adobe Audition, radio automation systems, CMS, SEO, and social media. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university. Three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
