Qualifications
- At least TWO (2) years of proven success hosting your own show in Top 40, Rhythmic Top 40 or Urban in a PPM Market Understanding and experience of PPM methodology; Full understanding of PPM Best Practice as it applies to an on air show Proficient with Vox-Pro, WordPress digital, writing ability, and LIVE appearances. Strong Social Media Skills are a must Commercial Production/Adobe/ Pro-tools or equivalent are necessary Knowledge and Passion for the Rhythmic-CHR/Hip Hop format is a PLUS The perfect candidate will possess a strong work ethic and is a highly creative team player

We are currently hiring for a General Manager position in our Monroe, Louisiana Market. The General Manager (sometime referred to as the ''Market Manager'') is responsible for the overall operation of the Stephens Media Group cluster in the Monroe, Louisiana market area.
The cluster includes: KMYY 92.3 FM - The Wolf, Today's Country. KXRR 106.1 FM - Rock 106, Monroe's Rock Station. KZRZ 98.3 FM - Sunny 98.3, Soft Rock Favorites. KNNW 103.1 FM - NOW FM #1 for Hits.
The General Manager will exercise discretion and independent judgement regarding a range of business decisions related to the cluster listed above.
Supervisory Responsibilities: All employees within the cluster Shared supervisory responsibilities (with the SVP of Programming) for all programming positions within the cluster
Duties/Responsibilities: Ensures revenue and profitability growth in alignment with SMG goals Manages the performance of all sales, programming, and production activities within the cluster. Maintains good channels of communication with the corporate management team, promptly reporting all activities, issues and potential problems, as necessary or when requested, through the established chain of command Manages all employees in the cluster, enforces company policies, and addresses all performance concerns; engages in coaching and informal disciplinary action, and seeks the support of human resources when appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned. Understanding and implementation of FCC regulations and requirements in relation to maintaining the FCC licenses.
Required Skills/Abilities: A thorough understanding of radio and digital marketing practices and procedures Comprehensive knowledge of radio programming, positioning and marketing and a general knowledge of broadcasting technology Ability to read and understand financial reports, to analyze costs and to forecast financial results Ability to cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with clients, vendors, strategic partners and community leaders Ability to represent and to reflect a positive image of the company in the community Excellent computer skills and familiarity with business systems and software, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, ADP Workforce Now, CRM, Marketron etc. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to manage teams of 10+ people. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information. Ability to function well in a high-paced and (at times) stressful environment.
Education and Experience: Bachelors or associate degree preferred, but not required. Minimum of five (5) years of strategic market planning, with a record of increasing share of the market.
