Local Sales Manager

- Manage the daily operations of the sales department including but not limited to inventory management, revenue projections, best practices and guidelines Use independent judgment and discretion to develop strategies to reach goals. Lead, manage and train existing and future sales staff while providing regular performance feedback Work independently and as part of a team to achieve and grow revenue goals Follow through with established accountability standards - To be developed with ownership Responsible for maximizing client revenue opportunities with on-going account list management. On-street presence meeting with prospects and clients, assisting AE's with presentations and in-field coaching. Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition. Participate as a key member of the leadership team. Qualifications In depth knowledge of media including radio, digital products in marketing and advertising. Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills. Proven leadership and experience developing client relationships. Must be able to develop exciting written proposals and verbal delivery. Expected to have excellent communications skills Computer literate in Word, Excel, and other office programs Must have a successful track record and experience in consultative selling. Ideal candidate has 5+ years sales and media experience in Columbia, SC market, with a proven successful track record. Bachelor's degree preferred.
