Country Morning Show Producer

Hall Communications in Lakeland Florida is looking for a fulltime producer and co-host to join a team already in place on our country radio powerhouse 97.5 WPCV.

Joining our air-staff, you will need to be a conversational, enthusiastic, professional who enjoys creating content in a today's short-attention span environment.

Applicants should have at least 3-5 years of experience producing or hosting a morning program. You will need solid production skills in Vox Pro and Adobe Audition. Any video editing experience will be a plus.

You will need to have the proven ability to work hand-in-hand with sales, promotions and production. You'll need to take direction and be ready to work the streets making regular appearances both as a talent and a set up person (onsite event coordinator) representing WPCV and Hall Communications. Reliable transportation and the ability to live within reasonable driving distance of our downtown Lakeland facility is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other cast members to create and execute an entertaining, interactive, fun and family friendly local daily morning show on 97.5 WPCV
  • Produce the morning show in a manner in which all team members shine
  • Mine social media and vet potential topics for daily shows
  • Cut and edit phone calls when necessary (Vox Pro)
  • Repurpose content for on-air recycling, station social media and website
  • Create compelling social media and digital content for the show's various channels (Facebook, Instagram, website, etc.)
  • Act as a brand ambassador for 97.5 WPCV in the community - appearing at various events for the programming and sales departments.
  • Voice-track a weekend shift as needed
