Sports/Experiential Partnerships Director
DATE: 10/15/25 Core Responsibility: The Sports / Experiential Partnerships Director (Hereinafter ''Director'') position puts you face to face with local, regional and national business owners, advertising agency representatives, and corporate marketing personnel to create sponsorships and partnerships for Beasley Media Tampa Bay (Hereinafter ''Beasley''). You'll be responsible for building relationships, planning, executing, and selling all Beasley Sports and Experiential assets as marketing solutions to help your clients meet their key business challenges. You will also manage the operations of all Experiential Events current and future.
Requirements
- Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter that can work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed.
- Possess a great attitude, have excellent oral and written communication skills, be effective with time management, be a strong negotiator, and be detail oriented.
- Be able to professionally present, strategically consult, sell, and service both potential and existing clients.
- Assisting local media consultants with opportunities to monetize Sports and Experiential assets.
Presenting and Selling
- Maintain existing business relationships while striving to increase billing and market share.
- Develop new partnership and sponsorship accounts and sponsorships for our company.
- Create and maintain ongoing relationships with corporate, advertising, and public relations communities.
- Present sports and experiential marketing programs to local businesses, corporations, and advertising agencies.
- Collaborate with local Beasley Tampa Media Consultants to assist in the presentation and sales of Sports and Experiential assets.
- Create ''Run of Show'' presentations for all Sports and Experiential assets
- Develop all relevant sales collateral in collaboration with Beasley Director of Sales including pricing, asset allocation, inventory usage, and sponsorship categories
- Plan and execute all experiential events in a profitable and professional manner
- Achieve Budget Goals
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals for all events as assigned by management.
- Communicate regularly with top Key and Target sponsor partners regarding their event sponsorships, etc.
- Act as primary liaison between Beasley Media Group and all relevant sponsors to assure superior customer service, quick resolution to problems, and access to additional marketing opportunities.
- Develop mutually beneficial relationships with key client stakeholders, leadership, and ownership.
- Product Knowledge of Key and Target Accounts
- Leverage knowledge of BBGI products, benefits, pricing, competitive, qualitative, and quantitative information to the benefit of your clients
- Continually update and expand your expertise with partnership marketing, promotions, events, as well as digital, audio, and video support campaigns.
- Be familiar with features, benefits, strengths, and weaknesses of competitors.
- Consistently plan and organize work efficiently, including the creation of event schedules, event timelines (buildout, load in, teardown), etc.
- Maintain updated account and sales records by effectively using company CRM.
- Provide organized and informative event revenue and expense reports as requested by management.
- Coordination and Communication
- Regularly communicate with direct supervisor to discuss progress, specific needs, sales rates, etc.
- Consistently provide weekly accomplishment updates to management through CRM
- Be available to work on all client promotions and experiential marketing activities when requested.
