News Director

Mid-West Family Broadcasting in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking a full-time News Director to oversee news operations on our six stations. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in journalism, communications or a related field, at least two years experience in radio news, management experience, and the ability to write and speak effectively as well as meet deadlines. Must be proficient in digital editing. Duties include story production, field reporting, and news anchoring, updating websites, assigning stories and coaching reporters.

Local radio news is alive and well in La Crosse. Our five-person news department produces award-winning news product. You will be working in a supportive, team environment for a company that truly values local news.
