News Director

Sheboygan, WI on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan offering a low cost of living, recreational activities all year-round, great restaurants, museums and so much more is a great place to live and work.

WHBL AM/FM Radio, based in Sheboygan, has an immediate opening for a News Director. This person will be responsible for not only news gathering, and reporting, but posting stories to the website, using social media and coordinating news coverage.

WHBL is a radio station that has not been around as long as say WJR in Detroit or WGN in Chicago, but the community listens to this hyper local station with just as much dedicated passion. The right candidate will understand the impact a small local AM/FM can still have on a community that depends on news and information.

We offer a competitive salary as well as a full benefits package. A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required for this position.

Please send your demos and resume to Market Manager Steve Schouten at steve.schouten@mwcradio.com; or snail mail to Steve's attention at 2100 Washington Avenue, Sheboygan, WI 53081.

This is a full-time opening and Midwest Communications is proud to be an equal opportunity employer by choice.
