Mornings in the Mountains of Colorado

Heart of the Rockies Radio Group in Salida/Buena Vista Colorado is searching for a radio professional that loves local radio.

Our group has won over eighty awards for broadcast excellence in the last nine years from the Colorado Broadcasters Association. We have been named Small Market Radio Stations three times in the same period of time. We are locally owned, live, local and relevant. Focused on Main Street, not Wall Street.

We do over 200 local sporting events a year. Local news at it's best. Everyone here is on the streets being part of the community. It's real live local radio the way it should be done. Everyone works very hard and wears many hats. This position is not for 'jocks' that read liners and does the four and hits the door.

If you think you have what it takes?? Keep reading.

We are looking for someone to do a live show on Eagle Country 104.1FM. Must have great social media skills. Know how to work the phones when on air. Award winning production. Help sellers with spec ads. Must know how to make live remote broadcasts amazing. Basically, do it all, smile and know that you are making a difference in the small Colorado mountain town.

Compensation; $47,500.00 annually. Plus commission on personal sales.
